I visited Orkney in April 2024. On my very first morning after arriving the night before, I had to drive to and see the Ring. On my last evening, I went there again to say farewell. This is truly a most magical place.

My recent visit to this Neolithic stone circle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Two more stone circles are just a few minutes away: Eslie the Larger and Eslie the Lesser stone circles. The latter is not accessible it seems, but one can get close enough to look at it over a low wall. The Neolithic stones at Avebury are more impressive than Stonehenge in my opinion, plus they are freely accessible. The Avebury site is huge, and great for a long walk to combine all stones. During a very wet and windy Sunday morning at the Woodhenge site near Amesbury, Wiltshire, UK... I got back into my rental car, and noticed that this ladybug had flown in. It then proceeded to clean itself thoroughly! A few hours later it was still in the car, but eventually flew back out when it was sunny and still.

When you visit the Jorvik Viking Centre, you get to sit in scooters, pick your language from a screen in front of you, and slowly ride from display to display. It’s fantastic! An entire village has been recreated on its original ground! Even 2 of the faces of the ancient inhabitants have been reconstructed.

This intensity was present during the entire concert. It brought tears to my eyes when the Natives came out again at the end and everyone danced, drummed, and circled together. This is how it should be, this is how it has to be: we are each in different tribes but we come together in respect and understanding, trading, loving, sharing.

@@DrezdanyWildlife I was there. I flew in from Oregon the day of the Ritual. Once it was over I hopped on BART and spent the night in SFO so I could fly back the next morning. I also recorded some of it but it didn't come out as good as your footage because I just bought my GoPro and didn't know how to everything on it worked yet. Oh well.
